greetings all:

i just had a surprise home visit
from my local public clinic.
i hadn't visited them in a while
-- didn't see the point in the redundancy --
but i have been seeing on obgyn
at a private hospital.

among other things,
they told me that i'm supposed to
see them and/or
report to them what my obgyn says.
oooooo.k. whatever.
i'll play that game.

however, someone mentioned
that there may be a fine
for giving birth at home
(although i have not said anything
about it to anyone).
has anyone heard about people being fined for
giving birth at home,
intentionally or accidentally?

btw: i'm a US citizen living in kayseri,
in central turkey.
