Hello Ladies!
 
Well, we waited and waited and.... HE's finally here!
  
Gabriel Marie Aslan ("Lion" in Turkish) Soubelet was born last Friday, June 27th, at 13h37.  He was born underwater at home after only two and a half hours of labor (even if that seemed plently long enough!).  The unbelievable part is his "imposing stature": 4.7kg (10lbs. 4oz.) and 55cm long!

 

We feel so blessed to be able to have had Gail Johnson with us (http://www.midwifewithoutborders.com/). She was a rock of calm and support in our time of need - she was just what we needed to help make our dream of a third homebirth and our first waterbirth come true!
 
Gabriel's big brothers and sister are very excited about how things turned out as well...
