December 12, 2008.  Gleason 7.  PSA 14, up from 4 about a decade before.

> Why did your MD put you on testosterone replacement therapy?

He's a noted naturopathic MD.  He and I both read salient portions of BARNES & NOBLE - Testosterone for Life by Abraham Morgentaler.  T does is not gasoline you pour on the fire of PCA.  T just brings back to life what ADT made dormant.  He said part of his health protocol is to bring back T while keeping E2 and DHT under control.  He's not convinced as Morgentaler that low T and high E2/DHT help cause Pca to reveal itself.

> Why did you discontinue Q+?

Stephen Martin, Ph.D., my doctor and I agreed that if I was going to kill some Pca with the MJ protocol and my doctor's protocol, it had better act like cancer.  400 mg/dL serum Vitamin C kills cancer cells because of the lack of protection cancer cells have from oxidative stress.  I maintain the reason Ron didn't see any progress with MJ is that he was on ADT at the time.  Now he's using Q+ and MJ.  Still in our opinion, not a way to kill Pca.  I made sure my T was high enough, my E2 and DHT low enough before stopping the Q+ because it appears stopping ADT in low T, high E2 and DHT environment turns some of the Pca cells androgen independent.

Don't know.  In mid March, 2009 it was 0.1 but I was on Q+.  I've put off having my PSA tested because 1) I'm enjoying having sex  2) There was the matter of the great pain, which if a fungus (unlikely, as I've had anti-fungal courses before), would elevate my PSA  3) My PSA was expected to return once I got off the Q+ and additionally started the T 4) I'm undergoing a pre-paid protocol of 30 EDTA and 30 Vitamin C drips.  Officially, I'm really just ending my first 3 months of MJ, since before I was on Q+ with the MJ.  So I figured why bother getting myself confused by getting a PSA in the middle of all of this?

Yes, cop out.  No, not a cop out.  I never claimed that I've smitten my Pca and my symptoms have gone away and as a result my semen has returned.  I said that MJ was also an anti-viral and anti-fungal.  I'm not ruling out having killed a decade old infection which went undetected with the MJ.

My AMAS result was very low.  I know, up to 7% false negatives.  For now, I'm keeping away from saliva, blood and urine tests until my course is over in about 6 weeks.  Except if the doctor wants to verify my Vitamin C serum level.

The doctor maintains that my cure, if I have one, will come out of the chelation and getting my over all health balanced.  His experience is that cancer is an immunity problem.  He's had many a patient who've gotten over one cancer only to get another some years down the road.   I like how I'm feeling with the heavy metals leaving and I agree with him.

I think the Vitamin C is very important, as does Stephen Martin.  His protocol is the synergy of a bunch of immune, oxidative and genetic signals.  The Vitamin C fits right in.  Today I get my first 75 grams of Vitamin C and I'm preparing by slathering my scrotum with MJ laced DMSO.  My doctor sees the Vitamin C as a temporary way to kill some cancer cells and to stimulate the immune system.  I agree.

I'm waiting for Immpower to arrive.  It looks like just the thing I need to add to the mix of immune, oxidative and genetic signals.   I asked Steve Martin what happens after 3 months.  "Heck if I know", was his response.  He kind of hopes the immune system will take over.  That's where the chelation and Vitamin C comes in.

I wanted a resolution or at least someone to hold my hand while I dealt with the Pca.  I happened to have lucked upon a doctor who adds value.  I'll take the added value.

We've read the accounts of people who believed they had cured their Pca with a low fat diet or just being on Q+ long enough so they went off it. They met with tragic, painful ends.  I just don't read cancer as a simple thing and am so put off by people who tell me they have the cure with a single item, I'm going at my Pca with everything.  As the book says, cancer might be a fungus.  Leave a tank car of gasoline or a pile of explosives in the sun.  Yes, heat causes fire and explosions.  But putting the fire or explosion in the shade doesn't reverse the process.

Everything I'm doing now might prove to be an exercise in blowing money and futility.  But then going for one's 2nd or 3rd HIFU cost some real money.

I have the Q+ standing by just in case.  I'll feel better from having gotten the lead, mercury, aluminum, tungsten, uranium and other metals out of my body and from having known I tried what I believed was the best on the market to fight my Pca at the time.

YMMV and definitely don't do what I do.
