Organic food is to be prescribed by doctors under a new pilot scheme in Scotland.

In the subsidised project due to begin in Ullapool, local GPs will dispense locally grown fruit and vegetables to some patients.
In addition they will be given advice on preparation and cookery from demonstrators.
