I am an adamant supporter that men and women are nearly equivalent
in their capacity for and relationship to awareness. I believe that
biologically healthy values are nearly identical in both sexes i.e.
that the optimal set of values to a man is also the optimal set of
values to a woman. For all intents and purposes, my personal
understanding of the differences of the sexes includes: different
physical development; different cycles of perceptual experience as a
result of hormonal surges; attraction to the opposite physical
body. Otherwise, I believe differences are a result of cultural
distinctions that influence self-identification.
My knowledge is limited, and I would like to explore further whether
my beliefs are correct. Can anyone recommend a book that approaches
sexual comparison from a neurological position?

P.S. I often ponder the penetration/receiving perceptions involved
in the sexual experience. Whether this is inherently biological or
simply the result of learned awareness to the expected performance
of one's role in sex, I do not know.
