Howdy all,

A little while ago, in order to help keep spam messages from getting
through to the list, I made a change in the group settings. Now, when
a new user joins the group, his or her *initial* message will be
moderated. This should keep spam off the board entirely. Hopefully,
the delay for new posters' messages won't be too long; between the
three moderators, we should be able to keep things moving.

Please let me know (on or off list) if there are any questions or
concerns.
