Unique environment of Children   Message List

What say you to this about a unique environment? Right now my child
is acting out like a complete and utter moron! I mean, please
understand my position with my child: he is the light of my life,
the center of my being, and the bain of my existence!

Picture him as a free-floating atom just bouncing around
directionless, without embracing any internal stimuli or change from
bouncing off and around other atoms. Just lost and bouncing around
in the universe without any direction or causal understanding of his
surroundings and his impact on these surroundings etc.

I know my son is in that developmental stage wherein he is trying to
break free the "apron strings." Trying to change the belief that he
must detach from parents as they are his only mode of survival, as
when he was a child. In order to survive and exist, a child must
rely on its parents.

I am trying to impart upon him to change this belief and now merely
think of me as a "resource" like any other "resource" in his life;
but it's not sinking in! LOL.

Leanne.
