I know it is hard for the likes of us who have kids with type 1 diabetes, and
wish every miniute of every day that they can find a way out of the
roller-coaster ride of testing, lows, highs, and an ever lasting - sleepless
nights of worry.
My point is that. We want to be on solid, clear grounds on where we stand. We
don't want to hang on false hope(s). I am a strong supporter of the research,
but i need information. reguler press releases. It is imprtant for us families
of type 1 diabitics to be informed if the progress (if any). And if not we would
also like to be informed.
Why.... Is it so easy to find cure and vaccine for swine flue in one month may
be two, and it is taking for ever to cure our kids from such simple
dis-functoin.
I would like for Dr. Faustman to clearly say what she thinks of her research
away from (funding politics). If she really believes she can get there, we will
be behind her all the way. If she has doubts, she needs to say so.
Finally i want you all to excuse my, i have a child with type 1 diabetes. AND WE
NEED A CURE
