Hello Stacy,
Just an FYI for the group. I called the Faustman Lab this week and had an
excellent chat with Melissa and also with Lynn Murphy. I provided Lynn
with a copy of the list of the Iacocca Foundation State Captains and their
email addresses so that we all could get in their data base and start
receiving future newsletters.
I am working with them to set up a memorial fund for my mother. She is
very, very sick, but still holding on. Her wishes have been to have
memorial contibutions sent to the Iacocca Foundation, which she knows I
have supported for the last few years. We are making sure now that these
contributions get directly to the Faustman Lab in her memory.
One blessing that has come of all of this, is that I have had this chance
to talk directly with the people at the Faustman Lab. I was very
encouraged to hear Melissa talk about all of their work. She was even
telling me that they were trying to convince the FDA to include a pediatric
trial in Phase II. If this were to come to fruition, my daughter would be
very excited to participate.
Peace to all this season,
Nancy Parr
