Given that JDRF is committed to 'finding a cure', I'm shocked that
it's not at least partially funding the research.
Recently JDRF gave out some 'awards' and I didn't see Dr. Faustman's
name in the list. The scientists who received this were working on
complication prevention. While it's important work, it doesn't bring
us closer to a cure.
I wish someone with a LOT of money would just write Faustman Lab a
check for $25 million. That's a lot more money than has been raised to
date, and it's going to take some real effort to make that goal.
