I'm with Allison. The other thing to bear in mind is that this process
is not unlike that for the extraction and purification of insulin.
Look how long that took, and they didn't have to deal with FDA and
other regulations.
I've had diabetes over 35 years. This is the first research that has
provided me with any hope. I would happily trade an insulin pump and
CGM for even weekly injections that didn't carry the risk of lows, the
danger of highs and the general unpredictability of type 1 diabetes.
I'm happy to wait several more years, and try my best to patient as I
do it.
