In all fairness......
 
Dr. Faustman is brilliant and genuinely passionate about her research. Please STOP attacking her for what she is doing. Her research has empowered Type 1s with THE BEST HOPE WE'VE EVER KNOWN!!
 
BCG, as a vaccination. Hypothetically it will correct the combatant T-cells. Even if the treatment only lasts for 3 months at a time -- it's slowly correcting a condition our bodies have become *accustomed* to over years (decades for some).
 
Thwarting the body into a non-diabetic state may prove to be devastating -- like whiplash. A cure takes time... a gradual healing process.
 
Wouldn't you give an arm or a leg (for a shot).... to get 3 months of repair, normal glycemia and C-peptide?
 
(HINT: C-peptide may be the missing peptide we've all been needing for a CURE)
