The blood assay Dr. Faustman is fine tuning will take approximately 18 months from the time the first year funding is provided.  After that the clinical trials can begin, assuming the assay has been perfected.

So basically, yes, Ellen is correct…the trials cannot begin until the assay is completed.

I was wondering if anyone knows when the clinical trials will
begin. The latest information I received from joinleenow was the
Summer of 2006, but in the joinleenow new website, it indicates that
the blood assy is estimated to be completed in 2007. I thought the
trials couldn't begin until the blood assy was completed. Does
anyone know?
