I agree that regular updates are helpful.  Dr. Faustman is providing quarterly newsletters; the next one is due out very soon.  

We also will provide news, if available, in the monthly “e-Lee” newsletters that go out.  If anyone is not getting them please visit http://www.joinleenow.org/html/contact.php and complete the “Stay Informed/Join Our Mailing List” online form.

The exciting news is that we are very close to providing the funding for the first year of the three-year project.  As soon as this is done we will notify our friends and supporters, hopefully by the February edition of e-Lee, scheduled for February 14^th.

I think it would be very helpful if we had monthly updates from the Drs.
to keep us abreast of what is happening.  I understand that they cannot
take time from their research schedule to answer each of us
individually.  However, this loop and/or the joinleenow.org website are
the perfect places to post monthly updates.  For those of us with T1D
family members, these updates would help us feel more involved and
motivated.  I personally enjoy reading the updates that they have
provided so far, but they have been few in number and somewhat
sporadic.  It would be nice to have more regular updates.

Perhaps the state captains could suggest such an update.
