Job Description for Licensed Therapist (to be posted)

Above the Line - Group Home Society is a non profit organization
dedicated to promoting healthy and productive lives for at-risk teens
in a safe, therapeutic and educational environment. Our facility
houses up to nine teen girls ages 13-18 in a supportive environment
with 24 hour supervision. Our girls are provided with food, clothing
shelter, counseling and educational opportunities.

Above The Line is currently interviewing candidates for a Licensed
Therapist to provide individual and group therapy with residents

This position is a part-time position (approximately 10 hrs./wk.)
and will be open as of 8/1/08.

JOB Description:

1) Meet individually with residents 2-3 times per month on an as
needed basis.
2) Conduct 3-one hour group sessions per month.
3) Provide staff training as needed.
4) Meet with Senior case management team to provide clinical
supervision, consultation and training.
5) Meet with child care workers to provide training and support.
6) Attend weekly Staff meetings.

Qualifications:

1) LMFT or LCSW or Licensed Psychologist.
2) Evidence of professional liability insurance.
3) Ability to process medi-cal and/or other insurance billing.
4) Experience with at-risk youth and resistant clients a must.
5) Experience working in residential setting a plus.
