  • Learn about important legislation that affects social workers and the clients you serve.

  • Find out how all social workers, students, clinicians, organizers, and managers can have an impact on state policy.

  • Meet Legislators, their staff and other important political contacts in Sacramento.

  • Network with other social workers and "stand up for others" on important social issues!

Event Details:

Audience:
BSW and MSW Students, Social Work Professors, and Social Workers in All Fields.

Purpose:
To provide a "hands-on" opportunity to better understand how social policy affects social work practice and how social workers can impact the legislative process.

Format:
This is a two-day event, which takes place on Sunday and Monday.
