Mr. Liao’s career in social work has spanned various settings—including child welfare, domestic violence prevention, supervised visitation, mental health, and substance abuse treatment. In the past 3 years he has been providing problem gambling training and education to various professional audiences and the general public, and he is also the author/editor for the statewide problem gambling training curriculum. Michael has recently published primary research examining the relationship between problem gambling and domestic violence in the Chinese community.
