SPEAKER:                     Robyn Walser, Ph.D.

 

Robyn Walser, Ph.D. works at the National Center for PTSD at VA Palo Alto health Care System and TL Consultation Services, her private practice business. She is a licensed clinical psychologist who received her degree in psychology from the University of Nevada-Reno. During her graduate studies she developed expertise in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, traumatic stress, and substance abuse. She is currently investigating ACT in the treatment of PTSD and she continues to conduct workshops both nationally and internationally, she provides supervision and consultation in ACT; and does direct clinical work using this approach. She has recently co-authored two books related to ACT, one about PTSD and one about Learning ACT.

We will also learn about San Mateo County Red Cross Mental Health Disaster planning from the lead person, Ginny Stewart, LCSW, during networking.
