Tomorrow (Wednesday April 9th at 1:00), the Board of Supervisor's Budget & Finance Committee will meet. One of the items on the agenda is  the proposed mid-year budget cuts to DPH.  There will be a proposal made by Supervisor Peskins to stop the mid year budget cut and save the public health programs.
Please take the time to make a call to any of the following supervisors to request that they make a vote to save the mental health clinic directors, public health nurses, and all other proposed mid-year cuts in Public Health. One of the suggested comment to make, is that the mental health clinic directors generates huge revenues for the mental health system of care.

(We have heard that each telephone call/fax counts as 10 constituents calling)
