Before asking to be approved for the group please read the following!

Read and understand the guidelines for the group.

Go to the Links page and click on the link titled "guidelines" and also "Stages of Recovery" to learn more. When you request membership you MUST give an explanation as to why you want to participate in this group.

IMPORTANT! If you check the option "hide email address from group moderators you will NOT be approved for the group. I need to have email addresses for all group members. If you don't want your email address being displayed to the group then post by logging in rather than email. You can also sign up for a free yahoo or gmail account with an anonymous user name for your privacy and use that email address when joining the group.

When you sign up for the group you are given several options. You can elect to receive individual emails from the group members who have posted, which I do not recommend. Too many emails! You can receive daily digests of the posts, or you can log-in to the group and read and post here. I recommend logging in.

Please check the box "receive important email notices from the moderator." This is the only way for me to communicate with you, important messages.
