This 'feels' very right. It reminds me of an older friend I have in AlAnon.
When her son was drinking heavily and riding a mtorcycle without a helmet, she
felt anxious and helpless. She began blessing motorcyclists whom she saw
riding without helmets. She'd imagine an umbrella of blessings and lovely
flowers
coming down around their heads. Years later, long after her son had shaped up,
she shared this story at an open 12 step meeting. A heavily tatooed and
well-muscled cyclist came up to her afterwards, and said he must have been one
of
those whom she showered with blessings, as he narrowly escaped some bad
accidents.

Hi all this meditation is done world wide every New years eve at 7am est .
I thought I would share it for those who wanted to participate

World Healing Meditation

In the beginning
In the beginning God.
In the beginning God created the heaven
and the earth.
And God said Let there be light:
and there was light.

Now is the time of the new beginning.
I am a co-creator with God, and it is a
new Heaven that comes,
as the Good Will of God is expressed on
Earth through me.
It is the Kingdom of Light, Love, Peace and Understanding.
And I am doing my part to reveal its Reality.

I begin with me.
I am a living Soul and the Spirit of God
dwells in me, as me.
I and the Father are one,
and all that the Father has is mine.
In Truth, I am the Christ of God.

What is true of me is true of everyone,
for God is all and all is God.
I see only the Spirit of God in every Soul.
And to every man, woman and child on Earth
I say:
I love you, for you are me. You are my Holy Self.

I now open my heart, and let the pure essence of
Unconditional Love pour out.
I see it as a Golden Light radiating from the
center of my being,
and I feel its Divine Vibration in and through me,
above and below me.

I am one with the Light.
I am filled with the Light.
I am illumined by the Light.
I am the Light of the world.

With purpose of mind, I send forth the Light.
I let the radiance go before me to join
the other Lights.
I know this is happening all over the world
at this moment.
I see the merging Lights.
There is now one Light.
We are the Light of the world.

The one Light of Love, Peace and Understanding is moving.
It flows across the face of the Earth,
touching and illuminating every soul
in the shadow of the illusion.
And where there was darkness,
there is now the Light of Reality.

And the Radiance grows, permeating, saturating every form of life.
There is only the vibration of one Perfect Life now.
All the kingdoms of the Earth respond,
and the Planet is alive with Light and Love.

There is total Oneness, and in this Oneness we speak the Word.
Let the sense of separation be dissolved.
Let mankind be returned to Godkind.

Let peace come forth in every mind.
Let Love flow forth from every heart.
Let forgiveness reign in every soul.
Let understanding be the common bond.

And now from the Light of the world,
the One Presence and
Power of the Universe responds.
The Activity of God is healing and harmonizing Planet Earth.
Omnipotence is made manifest.

I am seeing the salvation of the Planet
before my very eyes, as all false beliefs
and error patterns are dissolved.
The sense of separation is no more;
the healing has taken place,
and the world is restored to sanity.

This is the beginning of Peace on Earth
and Good Will toward all,
as Love flows forth from every heart,
forgiveness reigns in every soul,
and all hearts and minds are one in perfect understanding.

It is done. And it is so

At some point you will look at ways in which you sell yourself and make the
commitment to trust the Divine more than what is placed in front of you.
Many people will prostitute themselves to be accepted by a group going
against what they know to be true and right for them. Many times in a bad
marriage
or job for love or money.:) You have to learn this lesson to and be able to
take a stand in faith.
I personally think as long as resist the porn it wil lcontinue.
I would like for the list to bless those people and wish them healing and

NO< A MILLION TIMES no

I used to go to an addiction site; there was what some call trash talking,
some humorous, some nasty

some moderators decided to "clean it up", well, like any topic there are two
or more ways to look at it, so they began to delete those messages that did
not share their view point

The site closed and has been re opened by AOL which takes away anonymity

My vote is no. I just delete them - I don't feel they are that difficult to
recognize. My feelings are that the more we get upset over them, the more
energy we send them and they will just multiply.

Hi everyone, the way I cut down on the porn is by using the spam control in
settings. I put every word I could think of that may be in a porn message
subject line. Example: breasts, big, sexy... you get the picture. It has almost
stopped these messages. Also, the name of the ones sending the junk, there is a
section for cutting out those names. I really can't understand why they would
choose a spiritual group, (I wonder if someone has a teenager, with a
problem?). But I also delete quite abit. Just some ideas....
Mark you do an excellent job, we love you!

We all sell ourselves to some degree in order to put food (ie. meat) on the
table ...

I got over the porn stuff a long time ago when someone tapped into my email
to send out porn .... how horrifying to realize that my name was attached to
150 pieces of porn mail ... and they say I was one of the luck ones most people
don't know that their email address has been hijacked until 1500+ pieces have
been sent out causing them to be disconnected for improper behavior. Not
only do these folks keep sending out from different addresses ..... just think
.... soon one of them could be yours.

Peace, blessings and love, Susan

Purity,
I do not believe these porn things can be eliminated. These people spend
day and night trying new ways. Deleteing appears the way to go. Mark, I
agree also it is difficult to look at the shaddow. I had been looking at
and coming to terms with the aspect of myself that had been a prostitute. I
don't mean in a sexual sense. Prostitute in the sense how I had
comprimised myself in difficult work situations, and relationships, always
being the one to compromise first. It was a couple of weeks afterwards that
my IE was hijacked by scene after scene of pornographic images. Before the
porn stuff took over, I had been spending time recognizing the negative side
of the prostitute in my life and attempting to find a positive aspect, so
that I could truly blend her into my life. After a few weeks of looking at
those lewd images, in an attempt to fix the computer, I really came to
really know the negative of the Archetypal image. I am still looking for
the positive in the image, but I have had enough of the lewd and crude. One
thing I have learned, is how to recognize those emails, and delete
immediately.
Mark, I do not hold you or any of the other moderators responsible for
this. It's impossible to get rid of all of this stuff. To me it appears to
target people that are working on themselves. One of the technicians that
helped with my comp. said that he had helped a Christian Prayer list
similar to this one.
I would appreciate any insight to positive aspects of the prostitute, as I
am unable to find anything on my own.....

Hello mc1@...,
Mark you do a good job moderating and I do believe some things need a little
censorship. LOL. But this is not one of them since it is impossible.
trying to stop porn is like finding a needle in the haystack anyway. It is
a
shadow no one cares to look at.
It might be wise for list members it offends to take a proactive part by
writing to yahoo themselves. I just delete a lot.
You can also read the digest version of the list and can skip those posts
that seem to be Porn. This way they do not come into your mailbox. You can
still
answer the posts you want to answer.
No matter what server you are on they all have the same problem even without
an email list.

I appreciate your suggestion, but I believe this would not only create a
significant delay in recieving messages but, also, put a great deal of
responibility on the moderator. At some point, we need to take
responsiblity for what
is becoming a predominant issue in the world rather than to expect others to

protect us from it. Somehow it seems we are buying into the philospophy
of

I appreciate your suggestion, but I believe this would not only create a
significant delay in recieving messages but, also, put a great deal of
responibility on the moderator. At some point, we need to take responsiblity
for what
is becoming a predominant issue in the world rather than to expect others to
protect us from it. Somehow it seems we are buying into the philospophy of
"not in my backyard."

Peace, blessings and love, Susan

I totally agree. I had a porn site totally take over my IE and corrupt several
files, disableing my comp. The email opened up as a dweb page, and everytime
you tried to close exit or delete, more porn came up. Adware was added to my
computer. So now I am afraid to open anything, and it distresses me, that porn
gets into this group. The discussions otherwise are so pertinent and
interesting.

I am a newbie here, but old hand at email lists......

If I may make a suggestion? The best way that I have found and seen used, is to
set all new members to moderation and unmoderate them once they send in a real
post, or have them all send in an intro before allowing them to post.

It takes a little bit more time, but not really any more than having to go back
and delete spam and porn messages.

Blessings,

Hello Mysslisters.

I certainly understand your dismay with these messages. I find them
offensive as well. And I delete them as soon as they appear.

Unfortunately, there is no automated filter to keep them from getting
posted. If we were to put all messages in a queue for approval by a
moderator, it might take a day or two for the appropriate ones to be
released. All we - Mark or I - can do is manually remove them when
they appear. I promise we will be more diligent in the future.

I just read the CM listserve and do not respond, but I must agree that it would
be better if the moderator filtered these inappropriate e-mails. I
would really rather not even see them to have to delete them.

Thanks,
Lori

Sent to me by a friend and client. Thought I'd pass it on to all of
you. We're publishing a collection of her stories in the fall and we're
hosting her workshop in March here in Ann Arbor.
Wishing you all the happiness and joy of the season.

Peace,
Rose

The Heart of Gold

The heart of gold is not weighted on the scales of life but scales of
the sacred spirit. It is with joy that I can say I have met a few
sisters on this path who have that heart of gold. The heavy hearts that
have lived a full and grateful live here on this Earth Mother will in
time be seen and honored. The keepers of the hearts of gold, posses an
inner strength and knowing that comes straight from Creator. The light
shines so bright from there beings, that one can become blinded in their
presence. Like Angels that dwell here among us they teach and show us
the way to live and to help each other. Their hearts of gold touch and
nourish the Earth Mother with love and understanding.

These women may not be world known, or well known, but they are of such
goodness that the communities they serve are blessed in many ways. In
times of trouble and concern, they lay down their sickness and sadness
to gather a basket of food and clothing to help the less fortunate. It
is often that these women will go that extra step and offer a hand worn
and wrinkled with caring of others. This same hand wipes the forehead
of the weak, hugs a child, with love and comfort; lets them know it is
all going to be better in time. Often these women do not have much in
the way of material things; their lives are hard with struggle and
problems. Nevertheless, they always think of others when they are
blessed with abundance. They will share the last bite of bread with a
person and trust in Creator for their own daily bread.

To be allowed to walk in the foot steps of these women that are carved
in the hard road of life is an honor. It is with respect that I look to
these women for guidance, strength, and love.

In time we all will be asked to walk in a way of humbleness and serving
others. I ask only to be allowed to serve and walk with the women who
have shown me a better and more loving way to live. If you have such a
person in your life honor her now, listen to her and cherish her
teachings on your Earth Walk.

I know for these women when the life here on earth is done, they will be
taken up into a glorious awakening of peace for eternity. The Earthly
struggle will all be forgotten and in its place a heart of pure gold
will beat.

In the time when our hearts are weighed by the Great Mystery, I trust
mine will not be found lacking.

My mom used to stay at least a week or more .... and needed it. This was her
bonding time with the newborn before she returned to all the responsiblities
and demands of the other children that awaited her at home. My mother was
dealt with the same small town doctor and hospital for all her deliveries.
After
her dissappointment with her first delivery the rest were natural by choice
.... which apparently became quite easy ... # 4 (1950) arrived while she was
standing at the mandatory checkin desk and # 17 (1968) arrived between nurses
checks. Through them all, she has remained a vibrant and healthy woman .... I
wouldn't even want to try to keep up with her.

In '69 and '70 when my children were born the typical stay was still a week.
Personally, I felt that treatment left a lot to be desired as I was dealing
with large city hospitals ..... and had complications as a result of poor
medical treatment during the birth of children. These complications involved
both
infants as well .... I was not allowed to see my son for two weeks after
delivery ... it was torture. And, I helplessly observed a nurse abusing my
second
child through the viewing window as she changed her diaper. Because of my
young age, health concerns about myself and my second were also ignored which
only created havoc in both our lives ... and could have cost us our lives. My
one saving grace was a lifetime of observing childbirth and child rearing as
an ordinary part of life ... which still did not leave me prepared for the
powerful and awesome miracle of giving birth.

For far to many parents, I believe there is not enough support when they
return home so quickly. I think this is true for many post-op patients as well.
Just another aspect of our fast paced society.

Peace, blessings, and love, Susan

Can you tell "way to much to a partner?" It would seem to me that such
intimacy, to be seen by the other, is a blessing ... as long as you don't expect
them to fix the problem. As Sheri points out, we all mirror one another in some
fashion .... thus, it seems to me that the mere fact your partner accepts you
and your history would help in the healing process. Ultimately, the work
itself is up to the individual.

Sue, my condolances for your loss. It is always so hard on the living. But 92!
How awesome! What a beautiful time to transition - Winter Solstice and the time

Thank you Sue. I have completed the work she has asked me to do and it felt very
good. We both walked away with what we needed. I recognized her to be my perfect
teacher as well. The healing path is an interweaving of our experience with the
experience of those that seek our help. I find myself in many situations where
we are both giving and receiving love, insights and truths. It doesn't always
look like I expect ( or desire ) it to. Sometimes it gets sketchy as to who the
student really is.

Isn't it all of us?

We have trained ourselves, done our homework and hopefully committed ourselves
to our own healing and by our willingness to be open and give we extend that
awareness to others adding insight into their whole SELF.

I'll share from "The Tao of Power" by R.L. Wing - his insights into the
translations of lao tzu's tao. ..."We learn how people tend to behave and
societies tend to evolve, and we recognize situations that hold no promise
because they are structured in a way that will cause their downfall. Thus we
develop the power to direct our lives into a future we, in fact, participate in
creating. And, in doing so, we achieve the fulfillment that comes from leaving
what we touched a little more evolved than we found it."
