Hello - I'm Janet, and also a Christian. I grew up in the Catholic Church, and
seem to keep finding my way back to it, because of its history of mystical
connection with God, and because of the Eucharist. Right now I am taking a sort
of "hiatus" from attending Mass, because sometimes it does not feel like the
Catholic service nurtures me spiritually. This has a lot to do with the lack of
a sense of community. Like you, I yearn for community.
I'm wondering what you mean when you ask "Do you find spiritual teachings fit
with Christianity?" Do you mean the teachings of Caroline Myss, or some other
teachings you were thinking of?
Good to hear from you,
Janet
Hi Nick, I'm Jo, and I am a Christian. I practice Christian Freedom and I am
open to other spiritual teaching. Although, they do not fulfill me like the
Grace and Faith I have in Jesus. My husband and I recently returned to the
Catholic Church and we received 3 of the Holy Sacraments, Reconciliation, Holy
Eucharist, and the Anointing of the sick. I have missed the fellowship although
I still find that the Catholic Church, does not offer that friendly fellowship
you find in other churches. Rugged individualist, I use to call it. Yet for
me, I find the Mass peaceful and healing. With love,Jo

Hey all, just wondering how many of you are Christian and do you find spiritual
teachings fit with Christianity. I am having a slight crisis of faith shall we
say, but I am also wondering if its just a yearning for community.
