I feel deeply for you, I come from a very dysfunctional family but never felt
the fear or terror that you mention. I don't need any more lessons from the
darkness, I had enough to know that it is the light I will live in. We as
humans seem to go back for the same lessons a lot, instead of needing just one
lesson to realize that love and peace and compassion and empowerment are all we
need.
I try to make life happen in a joyous way now, and if some difficult things
happen I let them go as soon as possible to get back to Joy. I feel that I
create everything now, so it is my interpretation of any situation and my
ability to see it for what it is and get out of it.
Knowing yourself and finding that peace within yourself will help you to ease
the burden of physical life. I sincerely hope you find that peace and
understanding. Love Joe

Subject: Re: CM What is true humility?
I think there is a great saying that I try to use in the cases of being
right... Would you rather be right or would you rather be happy?
This has been a very interesting conversation. I am walking through some very
difficult life experiences now that are really having me look at humility. And
thank God fr the Entering the Castle CD becuase I think at times it helped me to
embrace that energy at the moments when I really needed to come from a place of
genuine humbleness.
I kept coming back to the same thing that Caroline said, in order to find true
humility, you must embrace both the light at the dark. You cant shine your light
without knowing the fear or terror that we also possess. It's like saying that
we have the sun without the moon.
I wish there was a way that I could embrace nothing but light energy. I dont
like dwelling in the denser, darker energies... but I get that I have to in
order to truly understanding the gift behind humility.
It's becuase i have touched the dark and have been forgiven. Because I have
danced with pain and overcome the shear terror of that experience as I learn how
to step in faith, and trust, and hopefully, learn to appreciate the
understanding that comes from that experience. only to move on to the next
experience that again has me down on my knees in prayer and I look to remember
what I did the last time.
Humility is the point of surrender for me. When I let go of everything that
terrifies in order to trust something more, something greater, something that is
based on love, rather than my logical mind.
just my 2 cents.

I agree so completely, we thank God every day for the multitude of blessings
we receive. I believe we are mirrors of each other, and when we can realize that
we find another piece of ourselves.
So thank you for being you and sharing it with me, I am more complete because
I found another piece of myself with you. Love Joe

Joe It's funny that we have come to the same place indeed. For me the
funny part is that we are all one, and we try so hard to be individuals,
by stressing our RIGHTS. I am RIGHT and everybody else is wrong. We try
so hard because we don't understand two basic tenants that I learned in AA.
1. Nobody has to be wrong for me to be right.
2. It is none of my GD business what other people think of me.
I like the part about you being a bright man. We spent so many years
looking for the light, only to find that we are the light. This is our
purpose to shine our light of creativity and joy for being part of this
world in this time, right this second. My life is blessed beyond my best
ever dreams
