Gee, I can't say I have noticed the earlobes before, I will be paying attention
to that next time though. There is a lot of wisdom out there, I have noticed
though is that when someone is close to passing they start seeing loved ones who
have already passed, We have come to think that their passed loved ones stop by
to see if they are ready yet to move on and they hang about for them. We have
found this more times than we care to count. That is if the person is conscious
of course, and is able to converse. Doesn't matter about dementia, they will
pretty much all see these things in their last days. We have found that this is
a very intuitive time, the gut feelings are used quite often over the use of
medical diagnostics and such, it's the gut we rely on.

I tend to sit with the elders and have been a deathwife for my family a lot.
Imagine--some wonderful woman of the kind you describe said that if you are
wondering when someone is really ready to pass when it's been a long
struggle--look at the earlobes. They will bend backward. ....and they do!!

There's so much wisdom out there about these things. All a mystery!!
