hello all:
well the lastest tests and things that you and heather are talking about got me
thinking about my initial diagnosis and subsequent followup tests. following my
dr.appt with my regular doc who picked up on it-- i went to a hosp. for an
echo-cardiogrm and it was clearly shown on the screen and after the dr. read the
test, stated it was MVP and Tricusp VP. As far as earlier episodes, i must have
had this for awhile and it was missed by a different cardiologist a year before.
Only after continuing to be sick off and on was it actually caught. So.....be
persistent....if u feel like something is happening??maybe it should be checked
again......i was close to seeking mental health advice because of the panics.
meds help the palpitations, rest reduces the tightness in my chest and shortness
of breath.....nothing seems to relieve the dull pain that persists most of the
time, but i can cope w/that.
hope u feel better
