I would love to talk to others who have mitral valve problems.
I had a valve repair and two by passes in June 2001.Then a month ago I started
getting really tired again and yesterday my cadiolagist told me I have 44% leak
again and will need a replacement valve when it goes over 50% or more, I also
will need two arteries by passed. I am wondering if there is a way to stop the
leaking from getting worse. My Dr. put me on extra medications and today I was
even more tired, I am hoping this is only temporary while I get used to the new
drugs. I am sixty years old, is it a fairly common thing for the valve to be
like this so soon after repair. I would love to hear from anyone who can give
me some better understanding of this disease. Kind regards from Veronica.
