Earlier this week I had a "stress echo" test,
based on my telling my physician I had chest pains from
time to time, which I had been thinking of as either
gas related or some other sort of reflux or hiatal
hernia. Anyway he said I have "a little" leakage in a
valve - i.e. MVP.
As I typically do, I immediately
starting looking it up all over and have found out quite a
bit.
Has anyone had an experience of what I call
"the sugar shakes?" Sometimes if I eat a lot of sugar
pretty - e.g. a large pastry or two - early in the day I
eventually get sort of "the shakes" - not exactly a bad
feeling but definitely noticeable. It seems to go away,
at least sometimes, with black coffee - I think
decaf works as well as the caffienated. I get tested
for diabetes and don't believe it's particularly
related to that sort of condition. Now, with the MVP, I
wonder about any relationship, along with other things
I've had over the years.
