how will mvp effect my job?

Hi, I was just diagnosed as having not only mvp
but tvp as well. I am a full time firefighter. How
will having mvp effect me doing my job? Will I have to
ease up? Can I continue doing my job effectively?
Should I give up being a front line firefighter and take
a transfer to fire prevention and doing just the
inspections? Let me know what you all think. thanks.
