Suzy, We that suffer with MVP/MVPS WISH we had
answers. We all have to find what works for us. I too
worry about panic attacks on a daily basis.
I take a
half of an ativan each morning and it gets me through
the day.IT helps me to stop thinking all those
negative thoughts. That is what get me the worse I think
everything BAD. I also take a prenatal vitamin and I drink
ALOT of water. I take Klonpin at night to sleep. I am
going to start listening to relaxation tapes to help
also. You have to take one step at a time. Try getting
back into the car and just driving around the block
and then the next day try two blocks and so on. I
find if I try things again then I realize that I am
not so scared anymore. ITs the unknown that scares us
so bad. The WHAT IF thought. We have to keep trying.
If you go to work and you do have a panic attack
then it just happens. You will find there will be
someone in that office that also has panic attacks. There
are ALOT of us out there. We cant stop living. Trying
working parttime at first. I am going to school and have
had only had one attack in a 40 week time frame so
that is not bad. And when i had the attack i just left
the class room, took an ativan and talked to a
teacher while i was crying and shaking of course. But
with in 30 min. i was back to normal and went to my
next class and took an exam. You will be scared but
you will be fine. Drink WATER all the time.
Be
kind to your self. TAM
