This support group is for people with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) formerly known as Multiple Personality Disorder..

DID is brought on by early childhood trauma (emotion, verbal, physical, sexual abuse)

A person with DID is considered to be very intellegent and creative person.
This group is a SAFE place to come and be with others that have the same diagnosis...so you may not longer feel alone or think that you are crazy...BECAUSE YOUR NOT!! and another thing to remember is that people do care about you.

So welcome to the group and I encourage all members to take an active part...You may think that something you have to say isn't important, but it truly is...something that may not help one person may help another.
