I wear Punjabi suits - Salwar Kameez and Dupata all the time. I am
also a white girl. I wear them to Gurdwara temple and no one gets
insulted.

Most India people are very tolerant. You can find out how to tie a
sari on an internet search and E-bays dealers under the search word
sari will help you with the rest. Many dealers are India and selling
sari cloth. Look in your phone book for Indian culture center or
Hindu Temple or Indian.

Does anyone know where to get a pattern for a Salwar Kameez or Kurta
in really large sizes or make your own.?
