Hello Everyone!
It's already that time of year again to start planning for the 2010 MDSLHA Convention. Our 2009 convention committee was wonderful and we aim to follow in their shoes! We want to encourage those of you who have never volunteered to come join us. It is a wonderful time and you get to meet some great people.
The 2010 convention will be held in the same location as 2009, the Towson Sheraton. This year we will need 9 committee members:

5 to work on booking speakers
*
2 to coordinate student volunteers
*
1 person to help with exhibitors
*
1 to help with miscellaneous tasks before and during the convention
We meet about 5 times. Two meetings are in person, two are conference calls, and there is one more meeting in person prior to the convention at the Towson Sheraton.

convention, please call or email Jen Kaley Mize or Heather Starmer. We will be scheduling our first planning meeting in mid July. If you do not want to volunteer, but still have ideas about speakers, please forward them to us. We will be happy to follow up on your recommendations.
