What:  Help Me Eat Summer Group

A group in which each child learns to explore a variety of different foods (tastes & textures) using our exceptional methods! Exploration includes sensory/food play, cooking/preparation of simple recipes, and tasting/eating.  The latest structured oral motor techniques are incorporated into our sessions to improve each child’s skills!  Our clients tell us that Help Me Eat is a positive shared eating experience.  Our SLPs are trained in the most effective treatment approaches for transforming picky eaters into typical eaters! 

For whom: Picky Eaters; Children aged 4yrs to 10 yrs are encourage to apply. 

A Picky Eater is a child who eats less than 20-30 foods (in 3 categories).  [A Problem Eater is a child who eats less than 20 foods (in 3 categories).]  

Prerequisites:   

·        an oral-motor / eating evaluation at Help Me Speak, LLC (completed in May or June 2009)

·        a case history/ food history

When: two 4 week sessions: wks starting 6/29, 7/6, 7/13, 7/20   &/or

          7/27, 8/3, 8/10, 8/17

Mon – Thurs  12:30- 2:00 (come hungry!)
