Our Consultant Firm is seeking a part time Speech and Language
Pathologist. This SLP will provide speech and language assessment
services for incarcerated special education students within Maryland’s
Juvenile and Adult Correction Education Program.
Duties:
1. The Consultant will work with the school principal and the special
education coordinator to provide a written report of speech and
language assessment service delivery of student outcomes and
recommendations.
2. The Consultant will be on the institutional site to deliver
assessment services to incarcerated special education students.
3. The Consultant will communicate about the student progress with
staff directly responsible for students’ academic achievement.
Requirements: Possess licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist by
the Maryland. Prefer three years of profession speech and language
assessment and service delivery. Must have knowledge of IDEA 2004 and
should have experience with incarcerated youth with special needs.
Salary: Negotiable and work on as needed basis.
