MSHA needs info FAST!!  There is a bill authorizing the formation of an Autism Commission that is set to be signed by the governor today...the last day of the General Assembly.

 

The bill lists potential members of the commission. SLPs were crossed off the list. MSHA needs to have representation of speech pathology on that commission. It can come in several ways: (1) an SLP from a university/college program, (2) an SLP working for a non-profit. 

 

Please reply asap to this request. MSHA's General Counsel is working with the Governor's appointments secretary to add names/resumes to the list of candidates.
