NATURE OF WORK: This is managerial and supervisory work providing the full
range of administrative functions and staff supervision to support the Board's
activities and further its goals and objectives in coordination with those of
the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. In addition, this position has
administrative responsibility for the licensing, renewal, continuing education,
discipline, fiscal, legislative, regulatory and public information functions of
the Board. The incumbent will develop, evaluate and implement the administrative
procedures to ensure that the Board fulfills its mandated responsibilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelor's degree and six years of
experience in administrative work, including three years at a supervisory or
project management level. Graduate education may be substituted for up to two
years of the required general work experience. Additional administrative
experience may be substituted year-for-year up to four years of the required
education. Must have computer skills in word processing and data management.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants should have management level training and
experience in directing program activities such as licensure, discipline,
legislative and fiscal mandates.
SALARY: $48,646 - $71,055 (negot.); growth to $78,100yr. (Grade 19).
