Do you know someone with communication difficulties? The University
of Maryland Hearing and Speech Clinic provides state-of-the-art
assessments for children and adults with suspected speech and
language disorders. Evaluations are supervised by faculty members,
who are licensed speech-language pathologists.

Assessments can address a wide variety of concerns including:
• delayed speech and language
• poor pronunciation
• stuttering
• voice problems
• difficulty expressing thoughts
• difficulty understanding others
• poor reading

Weekday appointments are available. Diagnostic services are provided
at reasonable rates and include comprehensive written reports. For
