I have a 7-year-old child who exhibits severe hypernasality.  I am 99% sure that it is VPI.  I have already consulted with Dr. Ann Kummer out of Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.  She felt that it sounded like VPI as well.  She is willing to see this child but the parents would really like to see someone closer to the DC metro area.  Does anyone know of a SLP/surgeon team who can diagnose and surgically treat this child if needed?  Please email any suggestions to sthompson@...
