Electrolarynx question   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #3803 of 4113 |
Hello All,

I need an opinion on choice of electrolarynx, both in terms of closest approximation of human voice and most trouble-free. I have a patient who is a businessman with laryngeal cancer and a new obstructing subglottic lesion requiring tracheostomy. As he is obstructed he cannot use a speech valve. He is enrolled in hospice but his performance status is still very good. He has no problems with fine motor coordination or cognition.

Please respond to this address, dleskuski@....

Thanks and it's great to be back home,
