Guidelines for acute stroke and stroke rehabilitation in
the hospital have been developed by an American Medical
Association-National Committee on Quality Assurance for use
by the Medicare program in evaluating physician
performance. NCQA has posted the draft of these guidelines
to its website for public comment. Comments must be
received by 5 pm (Eastern), Friday, August 25.
