The Cochlear Implants and Psychophysics Lab at the University of Maryland, College Park, is looking for adult CI users to participate in several ongoing research projects. Our work is NIH-funded. We are investigating issues such as mechanisms underlying auditory perception in competing backgrounds, auditory processing of prosodic cues, and effects of aging on spectro-temporal processing by CI listeners.
Users of all devices, any age group, any auditory experience (pre- or post lingual hearing loss), native or non-native speakers of American English, are welcome to participate. We reimburse our participants for their listening time and for travel.
If interested, please contact Monita Chatterjee at mchatterjee@... or at (301) 405 7716.
Thanks!
