30th Anniversary of IDEA Special Education Law
November 29, 2005 marked the 30th anniversary of the Individuals with
Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), originally known as the Education for
All Handicapped Children Act when enacted by President Gerald Ford on
November 29, 1975. Today, IDEA serves over 6 million children with
