Re: SLP staffing question

Sheila,

We have 6 full time speech pathologists.
We cover 7 days a week. Sat (1 SLP): 4hrs scheduled; 4 hrs on call; Sun on-call
Our full time staff take turns covering the weekends and holidays.

You're welcome.
Barbara

For those of you that work in an acute care hospital setting, I have some
staffing questions.
How many full-time equivalent SLP's do you have?
Does your SLP service staff the hospital 7 days a week?
If you do cover weekends, do you use full-time staff, part-time staff or
PRN's to cover the weekends?

Thanks for your input

Sheila Mehring
