Hello,
I wanted to answer your questions in a very general form
for now and will write more soon...but as to your 3
questions here are my thoughts...
1-It is my husband who struggles with DID and I think I
mentioned previously that I am told that finding one male
out there with this struggle is "someting" because you
don't find many who are not women. Women are often the
abused or victims you might say
2-My husband deals with 8 alters all together (so far).
3-And a very important answer for you....It is "Poor
Therapy". No one has the right to invade your vacation, has
the right to make decisions without you, has the right to
give your husband a free reign to call day or night, has
the right to be this demanding or possessive of your
husband or you. I realize , too , that it is very hard to
find a find a therapist who is capable and willing and even
believes DID exists. We drive over an hour in a half
ourselves. Do not take shoulder this concern on your
behalf. You husband is in the vulnerable state and it
sounds as if she is influencing his progress & healing.
There is nothing I am sure more frustrating than having to
start all over again but this seems like a red flag waving
violently. I would proceed with extreme caution.
Just my thoughts. Have a good day. Tammy
