Re: [Mourning Loss of a Child] My son Tim

Dear Val,
Thank you for sharing your memories of your son Tim. He sounds like a
wonderful young man. I am sorry for your loss & for the mental breakdown you
had. Do the pictures of his younger years help you to remember? God Bless you
Val.
Helen,
Lisa's Mum forever

Tim was a very caring, gentle person, one couldnt help but like him.
He had heaps of friends and when you made friends with Tim, as far as
he was concerned, it was for life.
He would help anyone, he was a great friend, brother and son.

His sister was born 6yrs after him and he adored her and they were
the best of friends, sure they had their tiffs, but they were very
close.

Tim loved to draw, write stories, write poetry was a roadie in a
band. He did suffer depression, that is why he was taking large
amounts (Ididnt know) of prescription drugs from the doctor, namely
drugs with codeine in them and sleeping tablets. He died from an
accidental overdose.

Since Tim has died, I have thought on many occasions that life is not
worth living, I had a mental breakdown 18 months after Tim died and
that has left me with no memories of him as a baby or in his early
years at school, the only memories I have of him are from age 16yrs
till the time he died.

Val.
