Hello, my name is Jaymie. This last Saturday, March 27th, 2004, my
music minister's daughter and our bass player in our Praise and
Worship team were in an accident. Doug was 17 and Chantel is 16.
Doug was killed instantly. Chantel is doing great except for just
being sore. As I am on our Praise and WOrship team I feel as though
I have lost a brother. This has been so devastating to our church
family as well as his family. His parents are UNBELIEVABLE!!! They
are so precious and I know that they are trying to stay strong for
their 4 other children. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has any
suggestions for Christian reading material that mainly focuses in on
the loss of a child and dealing with keeping the family together.
Also if anyone has any suggestions for me as a friend as to what
would be helpful to the family. This next Sunday is going to be
extremely difficult for all involved. If any of you wish to pray for
his family as well as our church, it would be most appreciated.
