Not sure what the all this off topic talk is about but I joined the
group to find out more on supplements to help extend life. If not
maybe I should look elsewhere for that information.
Mike
[The philosophical discussions arising from posts by those have read the
Self-Sovereign Individual Project are *not* off-topic as anyone who reads the
home page of MoreLife Yahoo will see. There is much more to life than currently
available supplements and knowledge about them. All life-extension measures
technologically available now or theoretically possible are contingent on there
being a society that does not prevent free interactions between individuals.
Keep in mind that Paul and I are the group owners/moderators and decide when the
messages submitted meet the stated purposes:
"..for readers of the MoreLife website to ask questions, to critique, to
comment, and to engage in discussions about the content and organization of the
[MoreLife] website - .."
*and* also:
"..to make comments and ask questions about the Self-Sovereign Individual
Project, the signifciantly different philosophical and social changes considered
by the owners of MoreLife as necessary for the continuation and fruition of
groundbreaking life-extension measures as well as for society as a whole." (both
quotes from the MoreLife Yahoo Home Page
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/morelife/ )
Mike, if you (or anyone) have questions/comments re. specific life-extension
measures, you may post them - following the guidelines provided in the Files
section. We will be glad to comment and welcome follow-up comments from others.

[Mike, you have been a member of the group since 2/23/2004 and you have not
posted anything until now. If you wish more discussion on supplements or other
life extension measures then it is up to you to ask questions or post comments.
The same is true for others. Kitty and I rarely raise new issues on this group,
but mainly only initiate announcements about changes to the website.
If you are not satisfied with all the information received from this group, then
you can change to not receive emails and only check it periodically, or you can
simply leave. It is entirely up to you whether you stay or go, just as it
entirely up to us the way we decide to run the group and the kinds of
information which we think is important for integrated enhancement of life
quality and quantity. But once again this does not mean that we restrict
anything submitted that meets the stated guidelines.
If you really think some of the messages have been "off-topic", then please
justify that thought by explaining precisely why some particular information
posted here is not pertinent to an integrated enhancement of life quality and
quantity. --Paul]
