Hi Kitty:
I noticed that Paul's regimen page
(http://morelife.org/personal/health/his-regimen.html) lists the
following:
1F Natural Estrogen
Perhaps this is a typo? It is listed right after:
1F Dual Action Cruciferous Vegetable Extract w/ Resveratrol
4F Super Omega 3 - EPA/DHA w/sesame lignans & olive oil
Great work on the updates as always.
Erich
[No, it is not a typo. It was a conscious decision, buy somehow we did not put
the reasons into our update list and now I cannot fully remember the reasoning.
[What prompted Paul to even consider the Natural Estrogen for himself was the
fact that we received twice the quantity of what we had ordered last summer and
he wondered if there might be some value in it for him. **Kitty]
I think that it was as follows.
1) My estradiol test value is not high and my testosterone reasonably high (for
having only one testicle).
2) The Natural Estrogen product does not contain any true estrogens nor any
botanical extracts that have the full spectrum of estrogenic effects.
3) All the ingredients of Natural Estrogen have beneficial effects that are just
as important for men as for women, some of which I do not get from any other
source.
4) There are hundreds of studies on PubMed showing the benefits of estrogens for
many many body axes which are equally valid for men as for women (which is why I
think it is a mistake to take aromatase inhibitors). Therefore, unless and until
I show signs of prostate cancer, I do not want my estrogen level to get too low.
5) I only take one daily (as opposed to Kitty's three) and I don't have to pay
for it - this is definitely not one of the items I would take if I did have to
pay for it.
