Current source for potassium citrate?   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #1585 of 2104 |
Greetings:

I also came across that Paul's page lists him as taking:
http://morelife.org/personal/health/his-regimen.html

Potassium citrate (38% potassium) 1 tsp (old)

No link is provided and I tried unsuccessfully to obtain some a couple
of months ago after reading the following post:

http://groups.google.com/group/sci.life-extension/browse_thread/thread/fde113b33\
c18687a/b6f225212fa0067c?lnk=gst&q=Potassium+citrate&rnum=5#b6f225212fa0067c

but I as unsuccessful in obtaining any. I am still interested and see
that after your last update that you have also started to take this
instead of the previous potassium chloride. Do you have a current
source for potassium citrate you could share please?

Thanks,
Erich

[I know of two places where one can purchase potassium citrate.

1. SUPPLEMENTAL HEALTH FORMULATIONS on their page at:
http://www.shfnatural.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=ING
However, I did not buy from them because of statements in their Disclaimer and
Indemnity Agreement to which one was required to agree and about which I sent
them the following email - to which they did not reply (which is a shame since I
had hopes of making a useful connection with an entrepreneurial person of mutual
knowledge/interest relatively nearby in AZ).

James Dyer,

I was about to purchase 4 units of your potassium citrate product and to place a
link to your website on our website for this product and for your scales (at the
least). However, I cannot purchase from you because I will not agree to items 2
and 5 in your Disclaimer and Indemnity Agreement. All the other items are
reasonable and should be sufficient on their own for you to be fully protected.
There is no need for you to require me to certify that I will not do anything
illegal (particularly when so many laws are negative for my life), nor that I
will consult a licensed healthcare practitioner, when this is entirely my own
personal decision and it should not be your concern since you are not my parent
or guardian.

If you will change your agreement so that these two items are optional instead
of mandatory, then I will purchase from you. If not, then I won't and I will
advise others to also not purchase from you.

2. http://thechemistryconnection.com which is an ebay store.

This latter is where I bought the 3 lbs for $45.70 that I am now using. My only
complaint with them is that I was led to expect that I was purchasing 3 - 1 lb
bags, but instead it arrived all in one bag. --Paul]
