Yes, thank you despite recent mishaps to each of us - Paul slipped
while doing structural refurbishment of our dock at the cottage and I
did not pay attention to a step when in Bancroft. Paul's bruise is
nearly gone and my badly scrapped left knee is healing but still sore.
Both of us were quick on the reflexes and so what would likely have
been much more damaging to most others our age has been but an
inconvenience. We both still heal quickly without infection. Paul's
"inconvenience" is several days past, but mine still continues at this
writing - my long pants aren't loose enough not to rub against the bandaided
knee and it's too cool today to do without them ;>)

I hope that your girlfriend is doing this research and you are
assisting her - since she is the one with the endometriosis.

[I am surprised at your mention of melatonin, since I thought that it was not
allowed to be imported or taken without a prescription in all EU countries. You
may answer this privately if you wish. --Paul]

Oops.... I made an error and thank you for finding it. Somehow I never
put the NALC on our regimen, despite the fact that we began using it
over a year ago. We started taking N-acetyl-L-carnosine at a nominal
dose of 50 mg daily (1.2 x for Paul, 0.8 for me as we typically do)
and are currently at 300 mg daily and have been since June. I have now
made the correction on our regimen pages which will be included in the
next upload.
While our Excel spreadsheet is mainly for keeping track of those items
that have multiple sources, I have listed several items that are bulk
powders and not from LEF. I'll add the NALC there also.
[The ommission of the NALC from our regimen likely occured because at the time
we started taking it we were also having problems with loose stools. We
temporarily suspended taking it (during our ramp-up phase), but quickly decided
that the NALC was not related to this problem and resumed taking it. We later
solved the loose stools problem by a combination of eliminating rhubarb root
powder, taking more fiber and using a better probiotic capsule. In fact, we now
take rhubarb root again (not on the regimen yet, since we are still slowly using
up an old mix containing far too much of it, buy adding a small amount to our
regular mix each meal). --Paul]

We do eat blueberries (frozen wild) daily - part of Paul's smoothie
and also in our large fruit cocktail before our dessert - and each of
us drinks several cups of green tea each day (actually 300ml in each
mug). That list in msg 1287 was made keeping in mind the limitations
of our current income. If our income was considerably greater, we
would then add blueberry and green tea extracts to our purchased
supplementation list, but probably after other items first. However,
if we had to pay for all our supplements and our income was
considerably greater, we might use the additional money for things
other than more supplements first.
